The Department of Statistics and Operations Research at the University of Vienna invites applications for the
position at the assistant professor level ("University Assistant post doc") in the following fields: One position in
Financial Econometrics/Statistics.

Candidates are expected to develop a research record, which enables them to apply for (tenured) positions of
Professor of Statistics. They are expected to conduct independent research and teach courses (up to 4 hours) at the

years. Applicants should have completed (or should be close to completing) a PhD in statistics or econometrics.
