IEEF is a budget unit conducting scientific and research and development activities in the fields of economics, finance, accounting, taxation and customs, capital markets, banking and insurance, business and corporate finance, ownership transformation and economic cybercrime. In the above fields, IEEF prepares reports and issues expert opinions commissioned by courts, prosecutor's offices and other entities authorised to conduct legal proceedings, in the course of which expert opinion evidence is admissible.
IEEF announces a job vacancy for the position of Assistant in Tax and Customs Unit. The candidate must have a very good scientific track in economics, macroeconomic policy and/or in issues related to tax evasion and a proven ability to conduct economic analysis and scientific research. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in conducting research in various research institutions (universities, research institutes, think tanks) as well as in public institutions and with experience in team management.
Candidates are required to submit the following documents:
- Employment application letter, containing the competition ID;
- CV – containing the description of education and work experience;
- copy of the PhD and post-doctoral degree diploma (if applicable);
- list of publications;
- copy of the certificates of competence;
- copy of the certificates or other documents confirming the knowledge of a foreign language ;
- declaration of holding the full legal capacity to perform acts in law, and full citizen’s rights;
- a statement issued on honour relating to the absence of recorded conviction of an intentional crime or tax crime;
- the following statement:
