for the post of teaching assistant

at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków

 

Pursuant to Article 119.1 of Act of 20 July 2018

"Law on Higher Education and science" (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668)

and § 58 of the Statute of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków

I hereby announce a call for the post of teaching assistant in the Ceramic Sculpture Studio

of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.

 

The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1688) and in § 59 section 5 of the Statute of the Academy of Fine Arts

and meet the following qualification criteria:

 

Prerequisites:

Candidates must hold at least a master of arts professional title in the sculpture,

Candidates must meet the requirements outlined in Article 113 of the above-specified law,

Candidates must have a well-documented aptitude for work as an academic teacher (a positive opinion on research and teaching skills issued by a PhD or MA advisor).

 

Required documents:

application form,

resumé or CV,

portfolio,

positive opinion on the candidate's research and teaching skills issued by a PhD or MA advisor,

statement to confirm that the candidate meets the requirements of Article 113 of the above-specified law,

copy of a document to confirm achievement of the required qualifications,

any additional information that may facilitate the assessment of additional skills related to the call,

statement of intent to take up employment at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków as the basic place of work,

a statement concerning the prohibition of direct reporting relations between certain employees,

consent for data processing issued on the form attached to the announcement.

The documents should be submitted in person to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Sculpture, first floor, pl. J. Matejki 13, 31-157 Kraków, tel. + 48 12 299-20-37, at the Department of Teaching, at the Department of Correspondence Log or sent by mail to 5.09.2019. Documents that reach the Faculty after the deadline shall not be considered.

 

Announcement of results:

The results shall be announced by 30 September 2019

If not picked up by 30 December 2019, documents submitted by candidates who do not qualify for employment shall be destroyed in the presence of the committee.
