CAREER STAGEEstablished Researcher (R3) (Researchers who have developed a level of independence)
The objective of EIT Food Innovator Fellowship is to empower postdoctoral talents to co-create, address, and gain experiences on excellent ideas capable of bringing their careers a step further, and foster innovators ready to respond to global food challenges.
If you have an idea that may impact the Food system and you're passionate about tackling sustainability issues, here's the challenge we have for you.
What is funded
EIT Food Innovator Fellowship will support a one-year challenge, beginning from the selection of the participants to the realization of the winning project-idea through an eye-opening and skill development training. After an initial evaluation of their idea, postdoctoral fellows will be selected to participate in a creative environment like a Hackaton, called Foodathon.
The Foodathon will serve to consolidate teams, to co-create and further develop the ideas proposed by the participants in a multi/interdisciplinary setting. The newly created teams should demostrate complementarities and synergy. The winning teams will gain a high-level complementary skills training and an opportunity to turn their ideas into real impact in society.
During this process, structured mentoring will be key to organizational development: teams will be carefully supported.
