The Association of Spanish Scientists in the USA (ECUSA, for its acronym in Spanish) is organizing its biannual association meeting that will be held in New York City on October 20th, 21st, and 22nd. The association has put together a very exciting program with some of the best Spanish experts working in the United States. This meeting's theme is "Scientific Challenges of our Decade."
ECUSA is a nonprofit organization for science and technology professionals that have a relationship with Spain. With a cross-disciplinary approach, it was conceived by volunteers in 2014 with the goal of promoting and spread the roles of science, technology, and the professionals in the field. ECUSA also aims to educate, inspire, and train new scientists generations and researchers and also create a network to promote their career opportunities, and to help with relocation and integration in the local communities.
The event will be held in Spanish, with individual speakers presenting in English or Spanish according to their preference. Registration is available through October 20th or until tickets sell out.
The meeting is possible thanks to the collaboration, effort, and economic contribution of multiple public and private institutions. The event will be held at two Spanish institutions, Instituto Cervantes de Nueva York and King Juan Carlos I Center in NYU.
